AmigoPlanet Privacy Policy

AmigoPlanet is operated by Koncrate (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Because the app can contain private information about people you care about, it is designed to keep that information under your control.

Local journal data

Friend profiles, diary entries, preferences, questions, important dates, concerns, and photos are stored locally in the app’s private storage on your device by default. All local journal features work without an account. AmigoPlanet does not provide cloud backup or sync in this version.

The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party tracking SDKs. We do not sell personal information.

Photos

With your permission, AmigoPlanet can access photos you select. Selected images are copied into the app’s private local folder, and only their local file references are stored in the app database. Photos are not uploaded by the current App Store version.

Optional account

An account is optional and is only required for remote AI diary summaries, conversation ideas, and the related usage balance. Sign in is provided by Supabase Auth using Apple or Google. Supabase may process your email address, provider-specific user identifier, and authentication session data to create and secure your account. We do not use this information for advertising.

Optional remote AI

Before every remote AI request, AmigoPlanet previews the exact text snippets selected for that request and asks for your confirmation. Diary analysis sends only the current diary text and annotations you approve. Conversation ideas send only the small set of preferences, concerns, questions, recent notes, or relative date reminders shown in the preview. Photos, friend names, friend IDs, complete friend profiles, contact lists, and unrelated diaries are not included.

Confirmed requests are sent through our Cloudflare Worker to OpenAI to generate the requested result. Request text is not written to AmigoPlanet storage or custom logs. The Worker stores a hashed account identifier and usage counters to enforce limits and prevent abuse. A validated AI result may be retained for up to 30 days, with a per-account limit, so a timed-out or interrupted request can be recovered without another charge. You can clear saved AI results in the app. AI results are shown for review and are not added to the local journal unless you choose to save them.

Device backups

Your device operating system or backup provider may include app data in a device backup according to your device and account settings. Those backups are controlled by you and the relevant platform provider, not by Koncrate.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit or delete individual records in the app. Deleting a friend removes the associated local records and managed photos that are no longer used. Deleting AmigoPlanet removes its locally stored data from the device, subject to any separate device backup you control.

If you created an AI account, you can delete it from the AI account section in Settings. This deletes the Supabase account, AI usage record, and retained AI results. It does not silently delete the friends, diaries, or photos stored only on your device; you remain in control of those local records and can delete them in the app or remove the app itself.

Service providers

We use Supabase for optional account authentication, Cloudflare for the secured AI gateway and usage controls, OpenAI for the AI response you request, and Apple or Google for the sign-in method you choose. They process only the information needed to provide those services under their respective terms and privacy commitments.

Future optional online features

If a future version offers cloud backup, sync, sharing, or export, AmigoPlanet will show the exact data selected and ask for confirmation before it leaves the device. This policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before such a feature is released.

Children

AmigoPlanet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect account information from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has created an account.

Changes

We may update this policy when AmigoPlanet changes. The latest version and effective date will remain available on this page.
